Shoup Wheel Bearings

Anyone bought tapered wheel bearings and cups from Shoup? Their prices are good and I was going to order some sets for a couple of running gears that I'm working on, but wanted to check to see about quality and durability. I'm guessing they aren't name brand like Timken etc.

I usually get my wheel bearings from CarID. I replaced every bearing in my Deere 640 rake a few years ago and got everything thru them except a few special seals. There prices were better than anyone for Timken bearings. It takes a little messing with their website as it wants a make and model of car but you can get past that. I usually find what I want on line and then call in the order. Tom

Replaced the "roller bar" bearings with Shoup bearings on my New Idea rake they seem fine so far. Admit I am not baling 1000s of acres but so far good and they were reasonably fast shipping if I recall. Regards, John.
