WAS /AND HAVE BEEN KICKING AROUND THE IDEA OF TRYING SOME OF THIS SILO FILLER CORN SEED FOR SOME TIME NOW ANYONE HERE TRIED IT???? I AM IN MICH; THEY ALSO OFFER A HYBRED YELLOW SILO CORN??
WHAT DO U GUYS THINK, ONLY TALKING ABOUT 10-12 /A

What are you going to do with it? Ive mentioned OP corn in here, and other places and established big farmers all say not to do it. I can get OP seed down here in Okla for $30 a bu, and the owners says it made 90bu last year. 90by HERE is wonderful. Says he planted a H the year before for alot more money per by and made 110 bu an acre. Says ther stalks get 10ft tall. I would rather have a shorter stalk and more ear, or have a shorter stalk and make it easier on the ground, even tho I have a binder and Husker Shredder I intend to use on it. Everyone says to go with H seed corn.

Try 2 acres.I used to grow 4 rows in the garden for my cattle. With the economy the way it is you may be glad to be able to save your own seed.
