Sidehill Combine

In a post earlier I was looking for a $8000 to $12000 combine. The two suggestions were Gleaner and JD 6620. Given the hills of Western Wisconsin, I will need a sidehill. I see lots of JD sidehill combines, but no mention in the Gleaner and IH brands. Am I missing something? Is JD the only brand to make a sidehill combine? Thanks. Paul

John Deere is the only manufacturer of a SIDEHILL combine. The sidehill only corrects to 18 degree slopes. Deere, IHC and Gleaner made a HILLSIDE combine that can level to a 40 degree plus slope. The hillside combines were sold in the Palouse region of Washington and Oregon.

JD made a 6622 AC made the MH and MH2 IH had the 1470AF in later years but I know there were JD 95s AC CIIs and something like the 403s in IH in earlier years.

Supposedly rotaries are more tolerant of gentle slopes than conventionals so there was no need to make sidehill versions of them . . . Gleaner's solution on conventionals was to use pendulum-activated cross-jet air blowers to spread the grain across the sieves on slopes.
