Sidewinder bushhog

(quoted from post at 17:35:13 04/20/23) Sidewinder bushhog bolts are they threaded threw the 1 inch plate or they tight fit

Unless they have a hex head, or other head for a wrench to grip, I would expect they are a tight fit, not threaded into the blade carrier. Use the part number of the bolt from your owner's manual and do a search using the part number. You can generally find pictures of the bolts on different sellers' sites. I know advertisers don't always use correct pictures. You can check several sites and see if pictures and descriptions match. I think some Sidewinder rotary mowers had flats on the sides of the bolts where they fit into the blade carrier.

Do you have the correct manual for your machine? It should give you info on changing blades.

Have you tried removing the old bolts and they won't come out or are you just looking at the new bolts and thinking the worst case?

Do they have hex head, or other flat sided head, like a wrench would fit or do they have the common round head that keeps the blade on, like other cutters?
