Silo for Saturday

I picked up some packets of vintage aerial photos from Kandiyohi around the 40s. This one caught my eye because it is similar to one of the silos we had on the farm. Vertical redwood with horizontal T&G staves spanning the studs and wrapped with hoop rods outside of the studs.

I've never seen this design. Is this maybe under construction? There are many more types of silos than I realized.

I really appreciate your Saturday posts. Please keep them up.

There used to be one with asbestos sections ad wood framing here before I bought the place. It got torn down and disposed of and not on the place when disposing of it. There is some of the wood left here yet.
