Never have I ever seen a double-wide silo top. Not sure why, but I don't like the look of it as well as single tops.
It is interesting though.

Always enjoy your silo and barn pics tho'.

Dandy. I have noticed through the years that a "silo" top always outlasts any other roof material on the farm.....

There's one near here. I have often wondered if there's any advantage. I can think of disadvantages.

That's quite a tub behind the silos. It looks more like grain bin construction, out of steel sheets.

One silo unloader, two silos. Don't remember actually seeing any when we lived in south central PA but I remember seeing examples in brochures from silo manufacturers.

There's a track between the two silos. They raise the unloader, roll it across the track and let it down in the other one.

There used to be a set of 4 on the road to Randolph like that, they are gone now. The silo behind is Herd King probably for high moisture corn.
