After speaking with the CAFPC board about an exhibition hook, I'm afraid we can't permit a V8 at this time. In the past we have allowed farm tractors an exhibition hook if they did not meet our rules, with the notion participants attended thinking they were legal. This was as long as all safety requirements were met such as hitch, wheelie bars, rpm, and they stayed within our top 5mph limit. Unfortunately our current rules do not clearly address exhibitions. I'm sure this will be corrected by the membership shortly. Our sled is not capable of safely handling open speeds yet. I thank you for your interest in our event, you are always welcome to attend, and maybe we can accomodate you in the future. Sorry if I misinformed you in the earlier posting. I hope to see you hook in Oakley this year.
