Simms injector pump gasket

The reservoir cover gasket on the injector pump is leaking on my ford 5000. It is the Simms minimec. I haven’t been able to find a aftermarket gasket, anyone know if they are available Or if it is a ford item only? The ford part number is E1ADDN993145C and appears to have been replaced by part #81762814. Looks to be about $20 thru ford seemed kinda high for no bigger than it is. Thanks

Most any injection pump shop should either have that gasket in stock, or be able to order it for you for far
less than $20. I just paid $50 for a complete gasket and seal kit for a similar 6-cylinder pump.

All that said, are you sure it's the gasket that's leaking, and that it's not leaking out the vent in that
cover? I don't believe I've ever seen that gasket leak, as there's no good reason to.

I don?t know of of any injector pump shops in my area. just thought I would see if anyone had a favorite place to get parts like this. I searched the part number and looked around on eBay with no
Luck. I had the cover off last summer and when I put it back on the gasket was stretched out and didn?t fit back on well. The breather may be leaking some but the gasket is the main culprit. It doesn?t leak terribly bad but wanted to replace it so I don?t run it dry.
