Site Running Slow

The site seems to be running slowly. It is possibly the search process that creates the indexes that allow you to search but I am not sure. I have notified the team and network expert that works with us. We will find a resolution.

A couple of other forums that I use that run XenForo occasionally act exactly as this one has been acting today.

It doesn't take very long to set things straight again on those sites, I expect you guys will find the cure quickly too.

The problem solved itself, meaning our indexing finished the phase that was hogging the system. Not to say it won't happen again as it's still running. On Monday, we'll look at what changes can be made to keep it from happening again. Sorry for the imposition.

Yes, the system probably needs more memory configured and the indexing system needs some tweaks. We have many million posts more than the defaults are supposed to be able to handle.
