Dark mode? Mine just changed automatically. But if yours didn't, click on your profile picture at the top of the page and click the preferences tab right above log out. Then select dark mode

You should have a drop down menu under "Style variations" in Preferences

Outstanding. Mine changed automatically as well - I loaded the forum and dark mode it was. And no popups here.

My only complaint so far - the titles of pinned threads are almost unreadable for me - light gray text on a white background.

Any other changes I should know about, or is the rest all non-visible stuff?

To me , it's the same as before.

It will only change if you go into preference and choose the new variant. It defaults to using whatever mod your system is using but you can change it from that to Light or Dark.

Understood. I wouldn't undo dark mode on a double-dog dare

throw my laptop.

Okay, so you're not on a phone. Windows or Mac? In windows, go to settings and type dark mode into the search box. Or, it's the first option under Personalization - Colors. If Mac, I have no clue.

Edit - but you should still be able to change it in the forum's preferences.

Just fyi it wont actualy change anything on android mobile for me.
Tried a few times an stays in dark mode.

I’m sure glad you guys like dark mode.
For me it was not worth getting dark mode just to deal with all these virus pop ups.
I’m beginning to get afraid to come to this site because of hitting the wrong button and getting a virus from the pop up site.

For more than a decade, Apple told everyone that they were immune to viruses. To this day, I wonder whether they were liars or just ignorant. In hindsight, it's clear that they were never bulletproof, it was simply a case of no one shooting at them. Once their market share got big enough to make them an attractive target for hacking, the truth came out.

That was unrelated to the update. That has also already been addressed.

I changed my style variation to Dark but it is not, same as before. I am fine with it but wanted to check it out, never seen it before. I only got the pop up that one time....so far....James
