Crack is in block. Now what to do. Weld. braze or block sealer?
Leak is in #4 cylinder wall, somewhere below top of stroke.


Water is in #4 cly. and oil.
Can I just put a sleeve in #4 and fix it that way?

Ok, what kind of repair do you want? and can afford.

If it was mine, it would be fixed right. Braze or weld, bore out and fit with sleeves. Find an old guy who has done it before.

Or find a different block.

With just a bit of care these engines will go 10K hours between overhauls.

Do a half way job and you will be back inside in 10 hours.

All depends on what your time is worth.
