Sleeve size

Ya, I know another question about sleeves that has been answered many times. Sleeves have a flange on the head end. So if I get .090 on the flange that is my size. Just checking so I don't make a mistake.

No. Measure wall thickness on the bottom. You can tell the difference without measuring. Thin wall (.040) sleeves are tin cans. Thick wall (.090) sleeves are more like pipe.

Ok, thanks TOH for the info. I have never done a sleeved engine so I wasn't sure.
