Sliding Adjustable Seat Roller Replacement

I’m replacing the old rubber rollers with the plastic ones that I bought to put on.

First question is; does it matter if the beveled side faces outside or in?

The plastic ones are a little narrower than the original rubber ones. I’m thinking I should position the extra length of the bushing that sticks out toward the inside so it doesn’t run up against the metal.

Also, the bushings are a little loose inside the new rollers. I’m wondering; should I put some loctite on them to try and keep them in place?

I'd just turn it (bushing exposed) toward the inside (away from the metal as you said) and mount it up. It's the same overall width as the rubber so I think it will be fine. I also seem to recall reading someone who fabbed new pieces of rubber instead of purchasing the kit you bought and it worked out as well. But that memory exists in a corner of my brain I don't quite trust.
