Sloppy shifter fix

This will work to rebuild the shifter mounting assembly and make it all tight again. It will do nothing to help if the end of the shifter that fits in the rails is worn and causing the problem. The pin that holds the shifter gets worn or corroded and the hole in the platform that holds it gets wallowed out. The sloppy shifter fix will fix those problems. I used one of these on my I-6 and it helped a lot. A pain to install because the shifter mount in the platform is real close to the steering supports on the I-6. The fix hardware screws together with allen wrenches. Mine worked loose over time so make sure the pin hole in the platform is clean and the fix is screwed in tight. Some loc tight might be a good idea.

I made those pins out spare junk in my shop before I knew about the kit. Think the kit only cost about $25., I spent a lot of time on it.
