small pull type combine suggestions

neighbor back home had a 101. dad rebuilt the engine for him. a few year later it had a fire. the neighbor picked up a 303?? used it a little but it had so many holes in it it wasn't worth it. so he bought a 815 but didn't know it had bent straw walkers. it was in very good condition but he never got it fixed. it sat in the shed for years. he was still farming into hie mid 80's and had his crops custom combined the last few years.

he had 2 AC all crops (no clue what models) both went to scrap as did the 101 and 303 and that was at his auction in 1989.

thanks for all the advice.

sounds like a dry AC 72 is the better option. none close by here that i've seen at the moment.

I think there is a decent looking IH82 not too far away but it has an IH engine on it. would prefer PTO as we don't need more motors to maintain but maybe can't be too choosy.

I have the perfect machine for you, a case 77 pull type pto drive. It even has the scour clean on it. I have video of it working if your interested. It will need a new canvas as the old one is pretty bad. I had plans to use it but I need the shed space so it has to go.

I should add that except for the canvas ii went through the whole machine to make it ready to go. New chains in the elevators and bushings in the shaker arms and such. Even have a book for it.

threshing is the trick after its cut. hand worked a small garden sized plot this year and threshing and cleaning is a pain

The AC cylinder bars is straight not bent even if rubber is gon they will still work very good for most crops, only need the rubber for like edible beans.

NO BX will not even come close to handeling the toung weight , takes at least a 35 hp compact and that is a little light but will work on level ground to some extent
