Small town banking

If little brother can make runs to the convienence store certainly I can do my banking!
You should have seen the look on their faces!

My dad always had a new pair of overalls hanging in the closet for going to town. He would come in from milking and change into the new pair anytime we went into town - I remember many trips to the bank. They always called him by his first name.

Nice tractor - it needs an operator with a proper pair of bibs. Oh and don't forget the pocket watch with the leather lanyard.

Enjoyed your post.

Ken,
Enjoyed your comments on your father, I sure miss those days of men like your Dad. Hard working, honest, and they knew he was.

Wish we could have all this back.

I drove up to my bank in my 17 Model T truck one day and the lady VP saw me and told me to go around and park on other side. She brought the bank owner out and we sat there and talked a long time.
They both were friends of mine.

I've done the same, but through McDonald's
drive thru. I swear every employee will
have their face played against the window.

You shoulda seen the gawks riding my 220 Case lawn tractor and me pulling through a not very busy Tim Hortons for a coffee... no cup holder - just pullin' a trailer full of lawn tools and a few sidewalk slabs. laughed my butt off... Brian Case farm kid
