Smalley elevator

Never heard of them. Looking on line it appears some odd Z shaped thing I can’t figure out what it actually does? I’m sure it’s useful but I can’t figure out how?

Yepper, the older hay and grain elevator. Got to looking again the other day and came across a Owatonna 205 elevator brochure. The cover picture was almost identical to the Smalley 205 brochure other than the color of the wheels. Any idea about the build years for these? Thanks.

Fairly certain those 205's came out, mid to late '60s. Real popular here in bale & cob country. Those, Kewanee & Little Giant were common.

Kelly was also a popular brand around here.

20 years ago at the farm sales, $25-200 would get you one, as ear corn left and round balers caught on.

Now they are rare enough you need pay a little more for a good one.
