snow blower 1950 t-20

was going to put a snow blower on my 50 ferguson t-20. has anyone done this, was looking for recomendations and experience. was talking to a guy with simlar tractor. he said it would not do a very good job because it is not live pto. dont know a lot about them, but mine has a nice loader on front, need to fix hydrolic pump for 3 point hitch lift, and battery is not charging. other than that runs great. anyway if someone has recomendations i would love to here all experiences, im starting to feel like i should look for something a little more modern to fill my needs. but i can move dirt around and pick up engine blocks from my car projects.
thanks

Since they don"t have a live pto and do not have position control(The position control problem can be dealt with via height control chains), the TO-20 is not a good candidate for a snowblower, in my opinion. Also the reverse speed is pretty high when you are running at 540 pto rpm.

I have used a snowblower on a TO-20. You just have to get use to raising the snowblower befor you want to clutch, and let the unit clean itself out. Otherwise it will plug up, and a few unhappy thoughts will be said. I has able to go through 5 inches of light snow. Living south of Buffalo NY, you have to use what you have.
