Snowblowers

[Amarillo Doug]

I work for a large John Deere dealer here in Amarillo as a small engine and compact tractor tech and since the 12" of snow we got hasn't melted much with another 5" on top from the storm last night we have snowblowers of every type coming out of the woodwork!It is my job to try and make these things run.Some of them are 20 yrs old or better but have very little use.Finding parts can be something of a challenge!!!

Do you know anything about these snowblower attachments for the newer JD lawn tractors ?

My 30 year old JD160 is on its last legs and right now I hand shovel 400' of driveway.

A new one with the blower attachment looks like an option. Thank you,

20yrs is young for a snowblower ,All in all not a lotta hrs accumulated per yr..I have quite a fleet up here in WI,and service several neighbors/friends machines.Your gonna be real familar w/Tecumseh carbs quickly.Major problem w/Tec powered SBs is stale gas and plugged tiny sidehole in main jet///takes about 10-15 min to cure,outside other problems
