There's been a lot of talk lately about deep snow and deeper drifts. Never fear, there's always a suitable tool for the job. Here's a way to take that rusty old, high-mileage farm truck and use it to make some extra income. Al you gotta do is duct tape this beast to the front, and off you go! Just let ol' Frosty the Snowman try to stand in your way. This'll chew him up, scarf and all, then spit him out clear in the next county.

They do make snowblowers for pickups.
Just Google it. Even your Northern
catalog has them. This looks like a
better more expensive one.

I researched them for a customer.

General consensus seems to be that the demountable ones meant to mount like a plow are fine for light, fluffy snow of moderate depth, but by the time you hang a big enough engine on one to handle REAL snow of any depth, they're humungous, heavy, pretty much require a dedicated truck to mount them on and stupifyingly expensive.

Looks like it would really overload the front axle of that old Ford, unless you just let it slide on the pavement everyplace
you go!

I built one like that years ago. 4 cylinder Pontiac engine on a hydraulic pump in the bed. Lift from a blade type plow. 4WD Dodge pickup. Only problem is that it went too fast if the snow was deep. They went through a lot of clutches. Would have been better with an automatic.
