Solder for the starter

I have a 9N 6 volt starter that I am rebuilding and need to find out what kind of Solder do I use to solder the brushes? It has to be the right kind or it will not stay, I have heard. Thank You for your help. MasserD

MasserD Silver solider and a torch is the 1st choice,and I have gotten by using 60/40 acid core and a heavy copper iron.
