On our farm here in central wisconsin a 730 or 830 will pull a full five bottom plow and 1030 will pull a 6 bottom with ease but go 7 miles to the west and a 1030 would only be able to pull a four bottom. Depends on type of soil

When the 1030 was the power tractor here in the late 70s Dad and I both bought Case 3300 reset plows. Both of us bought 6/16s. My 1030 pulled that plow over a lot of acres. I could drop one bottom and pull a 7' Kirschmann pony drill and pony press small grain.
