SOS follow up

Well got The disengage locked in after about 5 tries. Might of took less but here's the deal. Need high r's to get rolling. Thought there was no reverse till got up to 2k and she jumped right in. Same on most gears after shifting. 5th gear does its usual jerk. What would we need to do to fix this? back flush filter, adjust bands pick up tube? Going to change fluid again because of moisture problem.

From the information available, it sounds like very low pressure(s) caused by internal leakage(s) or badly worn components.

Did you clean the suction strainer?

Did you change the filter (not the cause of your problems)? (You can not effectively "back flush" the filter.)

Are you using the correct oil?

Got correct oil. Just changed it because of moisture and planned on doing filter and and such after alittle driving around. Tractor was sitting and the guy I bought it from Got it going with little effort. All fluids are not pretty. Where would suction strainer be in there? It had gunk in screen when drained it.

The screen that had gunk in it is the suction strainer. We're assuming that you cleaned it when you had it out??????
