Hi,
snapped chain on old kubota tiller. Near as I can measure its 22
mm pitch and 13 mm rollers.
That is not anything like a standard size; 60 and 80 roller chain
no good. All the DIN chain sizes I found are just metric
equivalents to imperial sizes (ie "we have metric chain: 25.4 mm
EXACTLY!")
Motion Industries could not locate a chain for me that would
match up.
Kubota wants $350 for a chain that might or might not be the
right chain and they can't tell me the size of the chain they'd
order form the warehouse, and they do say if it ain;t right I
CANNOT return it.
GRR!
Any ideas where I might turn, short of making my own repair
link?
thanks!
