Spam Emails

Somebody must have made a fortune selling my email address, I just got rid of 62 spam emails from today only!!! They had stopped for quite a while, and the last few weeks, they have been heavy, but not this bad. Half of the time the block senders won't come up so I have to mark them as spam and them it fills my spam box and I delete a hundred or so at a time. To me, if you click unsubscribe, it just lets hem know it's a good address so they send more. Aint technology great???

But how do we get rid of Robo calls,They want to help me with paying off my college loans, or some other fool thing, i know they just want a Social S. Number!!!

I had the same thing happen a while back.

All of a sudden, I got slammed with email spam, at least 150-200 a day!

No way to get rid of them, most just fill the junk mail folder which I occasionally delete unread, some go to the inbox 'other' file, which gets deleted. The rest I have to scan through and pick the real ones out.

Only solution would be to open a new email address and I would loose a lot of real contacts, I've had this address for many years.

I told one of those idiots. I will save both of some time, Why don' I just give you my bank information now. He didn't know what to say,and hung up. I get 10 or so calls a day from them. Stan

On Robo Calls, I keep a whistle near my phone..A good blast on the whistle gets them gone quickly and seems to have reduced the number of calls I GET.

I ordered something last Wed. though the internet. Fri I received and email from UPS? They had the UPS shield and it looked official. They said that they had a package for me but all they could read was my name and email address. They even had a picture of a package. They said if I would send them my info and credit card number for extra handling, they would send it to me. I called the company that I ordered from, they laughed and said that they just shipped it out fri morning and that they shipped it by Fed Ex.

I turned the ringer off my phone.
42 spam calls in 2 days.
My voicemail instructs people to send me a text.
After they called I would ring back the number and verizon said the number is no longer in service. I blocked the number..

We get the ones that start "My dearest beloved" or similar.
We have been authorized to send you x amount of money. All from Africa or Nigeria or other third world country. One even got our password and tried to blackmail us. Luckily he could not freeze our email so we changed our password which is under isp control. Now where is that red button to destroy their computer.

FYI, Bob, pick up your phone and look at the ear piece. How lound of a sound do you think it could produce? Loud enough to cause hearing damage? No?

Guess what. The caller on the other end has a similar ear piece. The loudest sound you can make will NOT be reproduced at his end. Just an annoying little noise. So, whistle away, but know that all the caller will hear is an annoying noise - and not very loud at that.

I was trying to explain something the other day, stop using your phones and emails to go to sites that you dont 1000% trust and you wont have as many issues. A lot of time people think a site is safe, when its really not, including YT.
