Spark Plug Wires

If your high performance N tractor has a problem using any type of plug wires something else is wrong with it. I've had a set of supression wires on for over 25 years and I know the boots have been chewed on by mice or squirrels and it starts and runs fine, points are probably as old as the wires. I have new points, plugs and wires sitting in the shop but haven't seen the need yet.

You need to get the 90 degree angled boots. Not the straight ones.

Not sure if you have O'Rieley's Auto up your way?

The sell std ignition 7mm copper core wire sets; You cut to length, straight or angle boots. For some reason the 8-cyl sets cost less than the 6- and 4-?

I had to make a set for my Ferguson. And have enough wires/terminals for a 2nd complete set; save the ones that are too long.

Straight boots are fine on the Continental engines. Get the angled for the Ns.
I used a 45 degree angle at the distributor cap end when I made a copper set for my Jubilee.

I drilled a hole in all the end pieces so I could pull the wire up through it and solder it to the outside.
