Have 1949 B, I'll be putting around the farm and using it at the tractor pulls. witch spark plugs should I use. It has champions RJ12C in it now.

Some choose Autolite 295 with a Magneto and Autolite 303 with a Distriburtor.

The correct Champion number would be J-8. AC Delco R45 would be fine for a distributor equipped engine. The next best defense against plug fouling is a properly functioning thermostat.

that is a resistor plug. not a good choice. Bob

should have added. J11 is a hotter plug then the J8 and is good when the tractor doesn't get used hard or burns a little oil. Bob

i vote for the 295. normally buy them at k-Mart in the lawnmower area.

That R on Champion number is for resistor plug. Bad choice for a magneto or tractor. Run non resistor plugs if you can find them and metallic or copper core spark plug wires not the carbon core auto wires.
