spin on filter conversion

I thought a while back on here that we had said somebody had found a spin on conversion kit for farmall. I would like to know info on them if anybody has one. Part number and everything. My local Ih dealer says they can"t find one for my 450 block. Anybody know anything would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Have the dealer look up a 140 conversion kit.

It was me, I think it was around $75 plus the filter. Here is the info you need:

Spin on adapter - IH part number 538828R91
Filter - IH part Number 538836R1.

does the filter cross reference to another filter such as a fram or any thing else...

They gave me a Fleetguard, when I ordered it. I can look at the number on the filter for you tomorrow and you can cross it from that. It was only like $7 though from the dealer.
