Spin on oil filter adaptor

Cutty.......with the "correct" adaptor, there is 'nuttin' wrong. You'd haffta really work yer tractor to gitt to the Ford owners manual requirement of filter and 6qt oil replacement every 300hrs.

I find 'nuttin' difficult replacing the drop-in oil filter (Wix 1010) every fall annual oil change. ......Dell

Dell ,the spin on filter has a very thin wall. One I measured after a stone hit the corner of the can that sprung a leak was just .010 thick.

I mounted one of those adaptors about a 8 moonths ago. Painted it black to match my block. Works great. I have good pressure and can change the filter in about 10 seconds which makes me want to change it more often.

No, it's not OEM, but the originality Police are not allowed on my property.

It's your tractor, use it if you wish

Good to know the Wix part number. I once heard it said that Wix made the absolute best air and oil filters. Anybody else heard this?
