Spin out rim removal

If you unbolt the eccentric body from the wheel be careful not to loose the blocks between the rail and the eccentric. If you happen to take the wheel apart on rock/gravel floor these can come out and you never know they were in there. JDavid

Keep the wheel on the tractor so you have a holding fixture, loosen all the eccentrics so the spin out rim is loose. You will have to remove all but the top one to get the rim off. If there rusted tight, take all the bolts out and drive the rim and the eccentrics off the center with a big hammer. heat and loosen and put the top one back on, hang the spin out rim from that one and slide each one in place on the rail, be sure there in the loosened position. When you have them all in place and adjusted where you want them tighten the eccentrics. Make sure you have the valve stem hole to the outside.

Thanks for the replys. I have a tire on the rim I am putting back on, but to have the tread going in the right direction the air stem will be on the inside. Does this make much difference, as long as it is accesable?

Stem in or out doesn"t make any difference, on an Allis WD and some others with final drives it makes the stem very hard to get to.
