I will have to split my 1964 industrial at some point. I have a few questions. I know it s somewhat easy to get the backhoe off, I figured out the clamping system and lines. I m guessing blocking the backhoe under it will help support it from falling over when it s disconnected.
My real question is the full frame. Can I slide the tractor rear end backwards on the frame rails once all the bolts are out? And will the frame support the weight like that. I plan on putting cribbing under the frame rails to help but it seems like it would be a lot easier to do that.
Is there anything to look out for when replacing the sos?
Anyone want to come to ct to split one?
