Had a wreck dealing with dads estate. In July we pulled his 1925 spoker from the corner of the shop where it had been sitting for 3 years since he finished it and moved it into a shed outside. Never for a moment considered he had straight water in it till last week when I walked by and saw the icicles hanging off the cylinders. Definately a sick feeling as its a beautifully restored tractor and was the pride of his collection but he went from healthy to hospital to gone in 5 weeks and we did the best we could.
There is a 2"x4" piece popped up between the cylinders, I'm guessing it could be welded OR he has 2 other 1926-27 D's for parts. Is there a specific casting number to look for or are they the same? What would have better value the original block pinned or welded or a replacement?
I know almost nothing about these old tractors and any help is appreciated.
Thanks
