Spray for small BRUSH

There are different brands at different stores and in different parts of the country. I simply grab something labeled brush killer. I have killed a whole lot of poison ivy, bittersweet, multiflora rose, and creeping charlie.

Yes you can add Roundup but the Roundup will kill everything. You had just as well use straight Roundup in that case. If you just want to kill the brush you can add an adjuvant to the brush killer you buy at the farm store. The adjuvant will break the surface tension of the water and some adjuvants have an ingredient that helps the brush killer stick to the weed longer. I don't know if you can get the adjuvant at the farm store or not. I wouldn't think it is restricted to licensed users. I always have a few jugs left over from field spraying so I have never had to shop for it at the farm store.

I mix Roundup and 2,4D. It works on the grass and the brush. Quack grass , MF rose and Buckthorn. Read the labels and mix correctly. If you make it too hot, it will burn down before the roots are killed.

Tordon with an anionic surfactant.
About a quart of Hired Hand P&D and a quart of surfactant in a 15 gallon tank. 2 weeks later I had brown cedars.
I've also drilled into the heart wood at a downward angle to kill stumps that I had to leave tall. And you have to get the entire tree.
