sprayer pumps

Well, some of us enjoy the exchange of ideas with questions here. It is a discussion forum.

Give us a better idea of how it will be used, what volume and pressure you need, and we could help you better.

Because, yea, there are pluses and minuses to both depending what it is you are trying to accomplish.

No comparison in my opinion. Had roller pumps for a long time. This last sprayer has a centrifugal pump...never go back to roller.
A lot of differences though. Roller pump is self priming for eaxmple, centrifugal isn't, and that's just the beginning of the list. I use a centrifugal too, but the OP needs to use Google and see which one fits his particular needs.

This is the pump I put on my 80 foot field sprayer, 540 pto, gear drive centrifuge pump. I am spraying at 15 gal ac at 5 mph. You might be able to get 40 foot with a 12 roller pump but you need to spec it out.

A centifugal pump is far better if you want a consistently high volume of water. Roller pumps or for that matter, any positive displacement pump has a peak volume delivery spec which becomes a nuisance in the real world. Also more moving parts.
