Stabilizer bar options

I have seen adjustable stabilizer bars[1] (which have the appearance of an adjustable top link.) I thought that having an adjustable stabilizer link would give the advantage of a chain/turnbuckle where it can be tightened up, but also give the additional compression component that a rigid (albeit adjustable) bar would give.

Does anyone see any problem with this logic, or any disadvantage to using an adjustable link? The solid bars[2] are made of spring steel, whereas the adjustable stabilizers would not have this quality, is that something to be concerned with, like might the adjustable link get bent easily?

Anyway, I'd be interested in hearing input and opinions on this.

(Also, anyone aware of an adjustable stabilizer link available from Yesterday's Tractor that would adjust to 31.5"? All I have found on the website only go to 19.5". I've tried to contact YT several times about this but have not gotten a reply.)

I run one solid flat stabilizer bar and one adjustable one as you described above. Sometimes when using two flat bars, you will hook up one side and the other side bar doesn't want to line up and is difficult to get on.

That's where the adjustable bar comes in very handy. Just adjust the bar until it lines up with the pin on your implement and hook it up. Then look at your implement from the rear. Is it centered to your tractor? If not then use the adjustable bar to center the implement.
