I took my pump off and found someone replaced one of the studs in the engine front plate with a bolt that had the head ground nearly flat. The bolt is free to turn which eliminates rotating the pump to fine tune the timing and adequately tightening the nut. Are there better ways of fixing this without replacing or removing the front plate? Are studs available? Any help will be greatly appreciated.
