Sometimes when I'm trying to start my tractor, the starter won't turn (new batteries). It will start after I mess with the left side shift lever. Isn't there a safety switch inside to make sure you have it in park? Can I check this?

Neutral safety switch is under sheet metal cover. NS switch, parts book key 11, is screwed into frt of RS cover.

Common problem. The ball in the switch gets worn enough for contacts in the switch to not make a good connection.

I have an Arias brand from Home depot I'm looking to upgrade as it has been unreliable and problematic. I would like to find one that does not need a repair each time you use it[/color:c7aeb547b8]
