i would like to see a simple wire diagram 3020 jd tractor for starter with push button switch

Gas or diesel, if diesel, 12 or 24 Volt?

3020 gas, 12 Volt; push button to engage starter.

Simplest "SAFE" way would be to source power from large post on starter solenoid where battery cable connects to one terminal on pushbutton switch, wire from other terminal of pushbutton switch to one terminal on neutral safety switch, wire from second terminal of neutral safety switch to "S" terminal on starter solenoid.

Did you happen to look at the neutral safety switch under the floor board, right hand side yellow wires?
