Starter Bushings

Anyone know where I can get the brass bushings for each end of the starter motor on a 2N w/o having to order the rebuild kit?

Just 8 Ns might have what you're looking for. Try searching for part no. 18-11052 on their site and see if that helps.

Nearly any local auto electric shop will have them. nnalert that Colin mentioned is probably as good of a source as any though.

I think you will find that the bushings are the same as found in any ford starter in their cars or trucks from the early 30s on and the same for the points from all the front mount distributors.If you buy a set you have a spare left over. CENTAUR
