I picked up a NAPA Rebuilt starter today and would like to know what it might fit. Looks like the old pull rod starting type.??? 👨‍🌾

It's just missing the switch. As a rebuild it may or may not have come with one on It is a foot pedal starter, not a key switch or pushbutton starter. The switch for it fits a gazillion tractors.Got one sitting here to go on a 40/420 two cylinder JD.

1st starter my search came up with Chevrolet and GMC cars and trucks various models 1942 thru 1954. 6 volt switch was mounted on starter and lever pushed switch button as well as engaging gear.
