Amps make heat. It uses more amps on 6 volt than 12.The only caveat is, the motor will heat up faster on 12VDC, which means_don't crank it as long without rest as you would on 6VDC

That makes no sense. Them tractors tuned up start on the second or third spark plug firing. And there is no reason to be spinning the engine at that speed to start it. I have my tractors here with 6 volt batteries and that’s how they start. And I totally agree with that guy in the video.Yup, thus my original reply.
