Purchased a set of tie rod ends to replace mine which are badly worn. I noticed on the left side, the adjusting sleeve is maxed all the way out ( no more adjustment as in it cant be toed in anymore ) the other side the sleeve has adjustment in either direction. I noticed the left side steering cylinder also has more cylinder rod exposed as compared to the right ( with the wheels straight ) my question is can I just disconnect the cylinder from the tie rod, suck it in a wee bit and reconnect with the new tie rod, which would mean the tie rod end would need to be adjusted further outwards allowing the sleeve to be adjusted in both directions if necessary. I hope this makes sense kind of hard to explain. I would post pictures but every time I try that it doesnt work for me unfortunately . Thanks guys
