Changing just the o-rings on the sector adjusting plates shouldn’t disturb the adjustments…correct? I’ll be changing the shaft seals too. Thanks

The sectors will more than likely come out. You already have everything exposed-dash is removed. Check out YouTube 8N steering box videos for rebuild and adjusting videos. I replaced the bearings and seals in mine two months ago. It is an easy job. Keep track of all the metal shims that are on the lower end of the steering shaft housing. I bought bearings, outer seals, and big O rings from this site. I had an assortment of small O rings and found two that worked on the adjusting screw. I did not replace any bushings. I may have to replace sectors and shaft later on. Will know when I get correct tires on front next week. This tractor had a very hard life before I bought it.

Everything thing operates smoothly with mine. Thought I would just change seals and o-rings. Be crazy not to seeing how I have it disassembled this far!

I ordered bushings and all four drag link ends from here and got them last week so that is in my future. It looks like I may need to clean out the gas tank so if I pull the hood, I will probably pull the dash while I’m at it, it’s not that hard

I had a little trouble stopping the oil leak around the adjusting screws. It seems the O rings were crushed when reassembled. In the end I used gray RTV gasket maker to seal the threads on the adjustment screws. It's been a couple years now with no leaks.
