steering knuckles

You can buy the cross kits at any good farm store or implement store for around 12 to 15 dollars just bring your old one with you and they can match it up.

Frank:

Another route is to replace the complete joint.  Go to your local truck parts store ( we have [b:654c4848f0]Inland Truck Parts[/b:654c4848f0] here ).  Trucks use the joints in the PTO driveline to power pumps for the dumps.  You can buy the complete joint from them.

See you in Madison next month

Thanks for the response Del. Perhaps I have given up too soon but the farm stores I have checked do indeed have the proper dia. kits, but all I have found are too long. perhaps it should be no big deal because the retainer clips are internal. Just thought perhaps there may be an exact replacement out there. Thanks again, Frank

Thanks Duane, Heck I had'nt thought of that. Maybe I can "borrow" one from the wet kit on our old retired semi. Lets hope for some good weather during the show. Frank
