Sticking controls 555B

Guys, i have a 1986 Ford 555B backhoe that I had to let sit for a few weeks and now the controls stick for both the loader and the backhoe. It got better as the day went on, but not great. Any ideas? I just hope its stiff from lack of use. like me!
 
Good old tractors, if if remember right didnt the controls have linkages to the valve body and exposed to the elements? they probably need a little oil on them
