I work for the City forestry dept. we use all Stihl saws and sometimes when they don't oil we run a little straight gas thru the oiler.Dump any remaining oil out of your oiler and replace with some gas and see if that works.
 
most probably this is correct. And it is behind the clutch. They are plastic gears which work good for a long time but that is an old saw. Likely these gears have melted & you need all new ones. You need special tools to get in there or a good knowledge of short-cut mechanics. Not a hard or long job if you know it. A parts diagram is a big help, service manual even better.
