just found a 850 in the next town over.. sub 2000$.. needs some front tin.. otherwise looks good. might have to go smell it tomorrow am. ( wish it was a rc )

I love those 800 series tractors, and for that price you better look. they do suck gas, but your feeding quite a few more horses.

Just picked up a 841 with loader ps and a 820 last week with a nice loader, power steering and all the components for the 3 point hitch. Both were that price range.

Happy Hunting

Telling my wife is a waste of time Ive found. She kinda hates my hobby......

I already have the tractor home before I seem to manage to tell her- its a reflex I think

[b:886a143a97][i:886a143a97][u:886a143a97]23?[/u:886a143a97][/i:886a143a97][/b:886a143a97] tractors and counting....

A question mark?? Me thinks you need 12 step group if not sure of count.

That or

a HIGH 5!!!

Hmmm....

Weeks. Tomorrow a.m.

Ford 8n

But noooo temptations right?

And by the way, several pallets of fenders, hoods, and several other misc. parts from probably local shop that just closed. Will miss Ray and his great advice.

no real interest in the N series for me now that I have started to play with the 00/01's

wow.. ray's stuff downt here?

soundguy

Looks like it, drive by his place almost everyday. Hes been cleaning his yard like mad and several of the assorted lots look like his stuff from back field.

Shoot you just got that there sickness called tractor fever. Only problem I se is that your color blind and need to see more then just the gray/red or the gray/blue stuff and maybe open your eye a little more and look at some of them Red or Orange or Green ones. When I say red I mean both or all reds and when I say green I also mean all of them. Shoot if you ever got you an Oliver you might switch colors LOL Say like an Oliver Super 55

Saw quite a few nice different colors up at Moultrie at the Sunbelt. Was very impressed with the older iron there. Not saying never at all. Just have to get my little blue one right first before getting more. Can already see need to get momma a midget for her use, or she's never going to leave mine alone, lol.

pppssssssttt Rich 55 Oliver decals and paint will fit on a Ford 850.. Lets go slow and careful on this "conversion" 855 F-OliveR-D

Ford did this with some combines, you know...

I drove by their today. I'd like to get some of that stuff in his back field.

his boys are now working at the NH dealer up the road.

ray's wifes been sick for a while too.

Yeah, Mr. Harris was extremely nice and very apologetic on my first non-NH trip to parts store. Explained to me about his wife. Sold his business and most of the modern stock to NH and would be working there when he felt up to it (and his wife). Rock solid storage of info in that head of his. His guys were pretty good from what was told too. Didn't realize they were his kids too. Always hard to see a successful small business owner go down for the count. Family is soo important and glad to see he was able to take good care of her.

With your talents ever think about making an offer for the shop and starting your own? You would get to play with tractors all the time!!!!

naw.. good money here and there.. but other times none.. now with 'good' co0mpetition down the road.. I dout you could 'start up' another tractor business in that area.

I'd still like to get a chance at some of his old stuff.
