Storing used tires

I picked up some used tires that I want to store for future use . They are 8.25 x 20 tires that fit my old school bus I use for storing cattle feed and fence supplies . The current tires are 30+ years old and will someday go flat / dry rot . I plan on pressure washing the spares and storing them under a tarp inside the bus .

My question is , is there any cheap mixture I can spray on them to help keep them pliable ? They will never see highway use . I was wondering if someone has had any good recommendations of atf / diesel / soap or other home brew ? I have some 3 rib front tires I sprayed with tire foam that seem have held up for 5 - 6 years .

Ken, after being in the tire business for
22 years, keep them inside out of direct
sunlight, off the ground and don't put
anything made out of diesel, gas, or
kerosene on them. I've had tires in my
shop for 18 years and I will put them on
my wagon this summer.
