Fairly certain I know what is going on in this slide set without the accompanying audio having been copied yet. But, when you take slides out of context, you get interesting & maybe painful ideas. And yes, it is 100% tractor related. It's even some fix-it stuff. I'll post the full video here & then on the Deere board in my other fix-it vid post, to keep up with tradition.

Lead balls are used as a sort of "PlastiGage" to set up the rear axle bearing preload and determine the required shim pack thickness,

I've done it MANY times, nothing "odd" about it, at all.
