stuck injectors

I'm playing with a 68 GMC truck and three injectors are stuck. 671 detroit inline. I took them out and soaked them in 50-50 tranny fluid and acetone, took them partialy apart. Is there something I should try to get the things to free up? I'm trying to avoid buying new ones because this is just a hobby, Ed

have you tried putting them in and adding some power steering fluid to your gas about a quart and drive it sometimes when they are stuck just soaking them wont cut it it needs to have some pressure behind to get them to open up.

Hey Brian, problem is, the rack and gear are stuck in the wide open position, so when I start the truck it screams. thats why I took them out.
i'm tryin to get them apart at the rack but the bushing is real stuck. If I can get the rack to close I will stick them back in the truck and do that with the steering fluid, thanks, Ed
